The Story of Diamond Upholstery

Welcome to Diamond Upholstery! My name is Billy, and my passion for upholstery began back in 2007. What started as a self-taught interest has grown into an 11-year craft dedicated to creating amzing upholstery.

My Journey: From Auto interiors to Caravans, Modern and traditional

The Start (2007): I taught myself upholstery and sewing from books I had found around at the time, specialising in automotive interiors retrimming car seating and headliners.
The Growth: After a 7-year break, I returned to the trade I love but domestic and commercial this time. For the next 6 to 7 years, I worked as an upholsterer for Pin Cushion Interiors upholstering and serving the Skegness, Woodhall Spa, and Horncastle areas.
The Expertise: While handling modern sofas, antique chairs, recliners and caravan refits in Skegness, I then relocated to the Woodhall Spa shop later working mainly by myself, aquiring along the way the even more experience in different kinds of upholstery.

The New Adventure in Horncastle

After years of honing my skills for an established firm, Diamond Upholstery is taking an exciting leap forward. I am officially striking out on my own and opening a brand new shop right here in Horncastle and I am still commited in providing the professional service that I am accustomed to!

Whether you need a static caravan refreshed, an antique family heirloom traditionally re-covered, or a modern sofa updated with a bold new look, I bring the precision and care your project deserves.
